Welcome Friends!

I am Elissa and I am so thrilled you are here!

My creative aesthetic is designed to inspire -  combining my love of quilting and background in garment making I aim to create projects that are made-to-stand-out.

My favorite methods of sewing include foundation paper piecing, machine applique, and English paper piecing – detailed fussy cutting and precision work is where I put the love in my details.

My creative style is bold, bright, & beautiful with a dash of over-the-top! I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of mixing endless color and loads of pattern in my creations.

From the first time that I sat down at a sewing machine in the spring of 2011, the attraction was electric and I knew that creating is what I wanted to pour my heart into any moment I could spare. My sewing started simply - I just wanted to make a skirt for my oldest daughter. That quickly turned into a children's custom boutique specializing in one-of-a-kind apparel. For over a decade I had the pleasure of creating clothing & specialty garments for families all over the globe.

As my own children grew up and my desire to sew and stitch evolved, I fell into a love affair with quilting - challenging myself to think outside of the box while honoring my colorful, unique spirit. My current body of work specializes in quilted garments, bags in every size and for every occasion, and intricately pieced quilts.

I aim to encourage the unique spirit in each of us to create with authenticity and passion. Inspiring others to get inspired (one stitch at a time!) is my goal when teaching a class or workshop, as well as presenting & lecturing both locally and nationally.

I am a FreeSpirit Fabrics Circle of Makers Brand Ambassador, an Aurifil Artisan, and my favorite fabric designer is the creative genius, Tula Pink.

When I am not in my studio creating I can be found loudly cheering on my busy teens, or reading a book accompanied by our family pups, Max and Rudy.

Thank you for visiting - Stay Inspired and Happy Stitching!
