Welcome Friends!
Hi, I’m Elissa — I’m so happy you’re here!
My creative aesthetic is all about inspiration, blending my love of quilting with a background in garment making to design projects that truly stand out.
I’m especially drawn to foundation paper piecing and machine appliqué, where detailed fussy cutting and precision work allow me to pour love into every stitch. When I slow down, you’ll often find me hand stitching and enjoying English paper piecing.
My style is bold, bright, and beautifully over-the-top. I love pushing the boundaries of color and pattern, mixing them in unexpected ways to create something uniquely expressive.
From the first time I sat at a sewing machine, the pull was electric—I knew I wanted to create whenever I could. What began as a simple goal to sew a skirt for my oldest daughter quickly grew into a custom children’s boutique, where I spent over a decade designing one-of-a-kind garments for families around the world.
As my children grew and my creative path evolved, I fell in love with quilting—challenging myself to think outside the box while staying true to my vibrant style. Today, my work focuses on quilted garments, intricately pieced quilts, and bags of all kinds.
At the heart of it all, my goal is to encourage others to create with authenticity and passion. Whether teaching, lecturing, or leading workshops, I hope to inspire creativity—one stitch at a time.
I’m proud to be a FreeSpirit Fabrics Circle of Makers Brand Ambassador and I’m endlessly inspired by the creative genius of Tula Pink.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me spending time with my family or curled up with a good book alongside our pups, Max and Rudy.
Thank you so much for being here—it truly means a lot.
Stay Inspired and Happy Stitching!
